What can create a great impact but cheap?

As far as money is concern, flower is not cheap.

In order for a big centerpiece to stand out it cost you a few thousands depends on the number of flower you have. However, linens is different. Its cheaper and allow you to create a bigger impact than you can imagine.

You can either search to purchase or DIY. However, as you know. DIY maybe more expensive :)

If you are on budget, I rather you do it as runner than the whole piece of table cloth. To me chair ties or chair sash you call is very important. The effect with it is to almost maximum. You can do alternate though if you are on budget :P

Rather than normal flower. What about some art and craft that you may want to DIY and create a better impact.

Pre-wedding photography?

Lets start off with something easy.
Pre-wedding photography.
So which are the ones that are better? Nowadays more and more photography shops coming up and you wouldn't know which to chose.
For myself I personally went to those bridal fair. Have a look at all their album and chose from there.

I will recommend:
The wedding dream - they actually corporate with another 2 bridal shop inside if you understand Chinese and take a look there you will see their photograph is up to certain standard as compare to others. Innocent and romantic will is common however they have good photographer with that skills to capture that moment.
Personally yet to try their service though.

One Eye Click - Is very different from the normal photo-shoot. To me they are rather Unique and bold than romantic. They do the unusual probably due to their creative ideas. Something that I would like to try out. Their photographs are not those WOW as compare to the wedding dreams and others. But they are rather pure. Seems like day to day life but each moment is capture at a different angle.

Cangai Wedding - Its the only bridal shop I pick when I went to the bridal fair. As the only portfolio I feel that is up to standard. I personally went there and paid for my couple shoot. If you see the background picture is what I took there. Skills I would say not bad. However, the photo-shop skill seems not to be there there should be improvement for that to make pictures look amazing as their skills of taking pictures is there. Not easy to communicate due they are Taiwanese speak only mandarin or Hokkien but their own version. Photographer is pretty friendly full of ideas. Service staff kindly only go to Eunice!!! She is my consultant. Actually I had a pretty good experience there until when I am waiting for my album to be print. As Eunice went overseas and cannot be contacted then some benefits she promise me wasn't given as the other consultant is so stingy to give and bluff me that she called her. When she is back I spoke to her she was so mad and even out with the others, however, to me is already too late thus I never give my album for their advertisement.

Bluebay - Another taiwan bridal shop. Skills is not bad however to me it did not deliver a message that a picture should. I would say only beautiful pictures. But compare to alot of others bridal store is one of the best I would say.

Just one tips: Whatever they promise you ask them to write down black and white in the paper, if they say is ok,you have to still insist, in case of any commotion.

I shall update again if I see any that actually up to my own standard, probably you brides can also suggest, I will take a look and to see if is worth my recommendation. Of course, different people have different opinion.

Should I spent on wedding?

This is my first post. Decide to start my career in this line my interest. Wedding is a girl dream since young. The planning started day 1 since young when she know what wedding is all about. Its a once in a lifetime dream that can be fulfill via hard work and true love.

A lot of people ask why should we spent so much on wedding? Rather spend it on people as you host wedding dinner. You spend for people to eat the food and blah blah.

However, its a lifetime thing. A life time dream. Many of my friends around I heard them saying. My husband keep nagging on why should we splurge during our wedding? Shouldn't we save the money for better use like dream home? Honeymoon. Yes indeed those are important. Hey, don't forget you can always save up and modify your home to become better and renovating it as and when you like. You can always go honeymoon when both of you can afford to take leave. Japan / Paris / Rome both of you can go anytime you like.

Wedding? Hmm... Can you say: "hey hubby, I think our wedding not grand enough, not romantic enough, not memorable enough, shall we do it again?" I doubt so right? Is really once in a life time getting what you want. Getting what you have been seeing in the fairytale. Princess and prince in the castle. At least for that one day you are. It leave memory in you for a life time.

So if I were you, I will save up and spent it for my wedding day. As there is no turn back for this, it may seems a little bit wasteful but at the end of the day is all worth it and there should not be any regret.
